September 2020 - Helix Monthly Results
As we do on the first Saturday of each month, the Helix Disc Golf Club gathered at Palm Royale Country Club. It was a hot day with temperatures in the mid-teens by the time we left, but we still had fun. It was nice to see some familiar faces out there along with some first-time monthly players.
We broke the players down into 3 divisions: Advanced, Intermediate and Recreational. We only had one Advanced player this time (our fearless leader, Jon Berg, shooting today’s hot round of -7), but the Intermediate and Rec cards were loaded and the competition was pretty tight! We paid out prizes (discs, shirts, towels, pins and more) to the top three winners in each division. We also had one on-course CTPs, with a sweet Prodigy Disc donated by our friend, Ian, at Central Coast Disc Golf:
