Palm Desert Disc Golf Club Weekly
When: Every Sunday evening at 6:00pm*
Where: Hovley Soccer Park (74735 Hovley Ln E., Palm Desert, CA 92260)
Details: $6 entry. $1 goes to club. $1 goes to ace pot. $4 goes to winner cash prize pool. Play under the lights at the park. Every player receives a handicap based on average score. CTP prizes and two additional short runs at the ace pot after the round!
Helix Disc Golf Monthly
When: First Saturday of every month*
Where: Palm Royale Country Club (78259 Indigo Dr., La Quinta, CA 92253)
Details: Temporary course set up once a month on this gorgeous 18-hole par-3 ball golf course. Support for our monthlies will help us gain more traction in getting a permanent course installed here eventually. Entry fee is $20, and registration is usually through Disc Golf Scene (posted a week or two prior to each event). Automatic entry into club ace pot. Played in divisions (Open/Advanced, Intermediate, Recreational, Women’s). Winners in each division paid in cash. On-course CTP contest.
*Some “roaming weeklies” will be held at various local parks on temp courses we set up. These usually take place on Sunday mornings when we host them. Though most monthlies are held the first Saturday of each month, we sometimes have to shift the dates based on course availability and other conflicts with SoCal PDGA events. The best way to track specific dates and start times is to follow the Helix Disc Golf and Coachella Valley Discers Facebook pages below.
