Welcome to the New Helix Disc Golf Website!
Thank you for visiting ThrowHelix.com and checking us out. We are a based out of the Coachella Valley and represent the local disc golf club out here in the desert. We’ve been running club weeklies and monthlies for years.
Club Activities
Our weeklies are held every Sunday at Hovley Soccer Park. Our monthlies are typically held on the first Saturday of every month at Palm Royale Country Club, where we are working hard to get permanent disc golf baskets installed (hopefully by the end of 2020). Beyond this, we are always working hard to grow the game in our area while also supporting disc golf clubs and events throughout Southern California. You’ll find us as tee sponsors at many PDGA tournaments and now that we have this fancy new website, you’ll probably be seeing our name and iconic star logo even more often.
New Website
We created this website to further the Helix Disc Golf brand while also raising more funds to support our local disc golf initiatives. We’d love to get even more new courses installed in the Coachella Valley and throughout the Inland Empire. We want to support more local professional players as they travel and compete in national and international events. We have some big dreams and this new website is just the beginning of it.
Be sure and check out our new online store. We have been ordering more custom discs to go along with some stock discs we have for sale from a variety of top manufacturers. We also have plenty of custom Helix apparel you can buy and rep Helix at your local course. A portion of every purchase goes toward our club and Helix disc golf growth initiatives.
Palm Royale Country Club
As mentioned already, our biggest push currently is getting baskets installed at Palm Royale Country Club. We have been working closely with management there since last year and have built a strong relationship with the community. Many of the residents of this gated community love coming out and watching us play disc golf on their beautiful ball golf course, and we aim to be good stewards of the course whenever we are there.
